CSC urges AD investigation into steel plate imports from South Korea

It is reported that Taiwan's China Steel Corporation proposed the anti dumping investigation into the under priced steel plate from South Korean supplier, such as POSCO, Dongkuk Steel and Hyundai Steel.

South Korea mills exported steel plate to Taiwan at USD 650 per tonne to 670 per tonne CFR, much lower than the market price in South Korea of USD 800 per tonne and about USD 100 per tonne lower than CSC's domestic price.

China Steel Corporation said that those three mills' total capacity of steel heavy plates has increased about 5 million tonnes per annum in this year but the shipment to Taiwan was more than 20,000 tonnes in recently months. (Sourced from YIEH.corp)
